TRS Technologies, Inc., a producer of piezoelectric materials and finished components, is seeking a production manager to lead our commercial product manufacturing teams. Specific operations reporting to this position include powder batching, ceramic forming and firing, ceramic machining, and crystal wafer processing and machining. Primary responsibilities for this position are on-time product delivery, production scheduling, manufacturing process control, product quality compliance, process cost control and reduction, manufacturing capacity assessments, capacity planning, and capability planning and improvement. Communication and collaboration with engineering, quality, sales, and business development is critical. The applicant should have more than 5 year’s manufacturing management experience, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and a commitment to on time delivery and high quality products. The applicant should also have experience working within an ISO9001 quality system as well as lean and/or 6-sigma manufacturing and product development systems. The applicant should also have experience with transitioning new products and processes from R&D to manufacturing. An ability to understand the promises and challenges of new technology and products and a vision for employing advanced technology in manufacturing is critical to success in this position. A B.S. degree or higher in Materials Science and Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Science is desired. The applicant must be either a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident.

TRS is seeking a Production Machinist with experience in ceramic materials including but not limited to dicing, grinding, and CNC milling. Duties will include manufacture of standard production and prototype parts following customer drawings or work instructions, data collection/record keeping, and routine PM of equipment used. This position will include work on second shift.
