INSPECTION TECHNICIAN |

Job Description:
The inspection technician will be responsible for ensuring that product meets customer and internal requirements, will be responsible for documenting results of test and inspection activities, and will be responsible for communicating findings proactively and in a timely manner.
Job Duties:
- Interpret customer specification documents, drawings, internal material specifications, and sales quotations related to commercial orders.
- Inspect products through the use of visual observation, dimensional measurement, and special test processes at various stages of product manufacture and at final assembly.
- Document findings on travelers, work orders, or inspection sheets and communicate findings to supervisors.
- Prepare and/or maintain reports, files, and written correspondence.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma is required and an associate degree in engineering technology or related technical field is a plus.
- A working knowledge of standard inspection techniques and practices.
- Use of calipers, micrometers, and inspection microscopes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Person should be proactive and driven to continually assist in the improvement of our quality system.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER |
| Description: |
TRS seeking an entry level Mechanical Engineer for piezoelectric device research and development. Applicant should have a B.S. or M.S. degree in mechanical engineering or engineering science and mechanics. Some prior work engineering work experience is desired. Major responsibilities of this position are to aid the lead engineer in design, development, and testing of piezoelectric actuators, motors, and sensors. The applicant must be a good hands-on engineer who is able to fabricate prototype devices including assembly and custom component forming/machining. The applicant must also have good communication skills including technical writing, and they should be familiar with Auto CAD. Any experience with piezoelectric materials would also be beneficial. All applicants must be U.S. Citizens. |
