TRS Technologies (State College, PA), a technology leader in piezoelectric and electronic materials, has openings for the following position(s) to support its growing commercial and R&D business.

Positition: ENTRY LEVEL CERAMIC ENGINEER
Description: TRS Technologies, Inc. manufacturers piezoelectric components and devices including industrial and medical ultrasonic transducers, underwater transducers, actuators, motors, and sensors. TRS also produces specialty ceramic capacitors. TRS is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on recent graduate ceramic engineer to work in our R&D department on a variety of process and product development programs. Duties will include new piezoelectric and dielectric formulation development, new material prototyping, ceramic test sample preparation and characterization, and new ceramic process development including novel chemical processing, advanced ceramic forming, controlled atmosphere sintering, and hot pressing. The applicant must have a bachelor’s in ceramic or materials science & engineering. The applsicant must also be a U.S. citizen.
